Parking
Street parking is available throughout the Village of Carlsbad. We encourage participants to carpool and use the Tamarack, Las Flores, and Vista Way exits.
Southbound participants - drive south down the Coast Highway to State Street in Carlsbad for good parking access. There is a large parking lot on State Street just north of Grand Avenue (refer to the map). After this lot is full, you will have to park on surface streets. From the parking lot, walk south to Carlsbad Village Drive, turn left and head east several blocks to race day registration and the start line entry area at Harding. There is also additional street parking east of I-5 on Carlsbad Village Dr.
PLEASE ARRIVE ONE HOUR BEFORE YOUR RACE TO ALLOW TIME TO PARK AND WARM UP.
ChronoTrack
State of the art ChronoTrack systems will be used to record your true time from the start line to finish line. The ChronoTrack system uses a UHF RFID disposable tag that allows you to walk away after the finish without having your tag collected.
Follow the instructions in your registration packet or at the sample shoe station to place the tag securely on your shoe. Please check that your bib has your correct name, sex and age and tag number.
