Celebrating 25 years as the ‘Worlds Fastest 5k', the Carlsbad 5000 will feature
NuVasive® as its new presenting sponsor on April 11, 2010. A global

Valley, NuVasive will utilize San Diego County's longest running 5k to raise
awareness for the Better Way Back program and launch its Cheetah Gives Back
Foundation.

April event NuVasive, will be raising awareness for its Better Way Back
program, which provides hope, support and education to patients suffering from
chronic back or leg pain. By partnering with a large-scale community event like

Known as the ‘World's Fastest
5K', the Carlsbad
5000 has a global reputation for its legendary course as the site of 16 world
records. Race day begin at 7:05 am with the Masters Men (40 years old and
over), the first of nine open races to take place before the world's fastest
professional athletes take to the streets beginning at 12:15 pm. In conjunction
with Sunday's race, the 21st Junior Carlsbad kids run will take
place in downtown Carlsbad
Saturday morning, April 10.
